ladies of the mountains // DIY

06 December 2012

This week my fellow mountain ladies are sharing some mountain-inspired crafts (check them out here, herehere, here, here, and here). Because I don't consider myself the best of crafters, I thought that I would instead share some of my favorite woodsy crafts that I've found floating around the internet. And obviously they're Christmas themed because you know, 'tis the season!

1 / Heart Ornaments: I think that these little ornaments are just so cozy and warm. One of my sweet blog friends even tried them over here and I think they look beautiful on her pretty tree.

2 / Natural Garlands: These stunning Christmas decorations are such an easy way to bring the outside in. And really, don't you think that acorn one is especially cute?

3 / Holiday Cards: Just fill a mason jar with your favorite Christmas bark (see my favorite here) and attach these tags to the lid for an inexpensive and festive gift.

4 / Boxwood Wreaths: I love that these wreaths still allow for the windows to flood with natural light. What's even better is they seem quite easy to make.

5 / Dipped Pinecones: I absolutely love white. So, naturally I couldn't resist this very simple, yet stunning idea. You could even string some twine at the end to make for a lovely ornament.

6 / Advent Calendar: Because a countdown to Christmas is a must and why not do it with something as beautiful as this one?

Are you in the Christmas spirit? I know that I am. Happy crafting, friends!
