I'm just beyond excited to have Kelley from A Crooked Trail here today. This beautiful lady is one of my very best friends and I'm so excited for all of you to learn a bit more about her. Thank you for sharing, Kelley! You rock.
Hello lovely Musings people. I'm Kelley and I blog over yonder at A Crooked Trail. Yea I said yonder, deal with it. I'm definitely a newb when it comes to the whole blogging thing, and I feel like I have a lot to share with you guys. So *drum roll please* I will be sharing 5 things that you didn't know about me! I know you're probably about to pee with excitement. It happens.
1. I'm from the great land of New Jersey. No I'm not ashamed. And yes, I am one of those Jersey people that will tell you all the good things about New Jersey. It is not the armpit of America, I promise. I will forever loath "Jersey Shore."
2. I love yellow. It's not the, yea I kind of like that color thing, it's the, holy crap I'm obsessed with everything that is the color yellow thing. I owned a bright yellow car, yellow sunglasses, and my wedding was pretty much yellow. Make sense?
3. I've grown up rafting rivers. Seriously. I've been rafting since I was two and guiding rivers since I was 8ish. I think there's river water in my blood. I can thank my mom for that. She's pretty cool.
4. I have my scuba diving license. I got my license when I was 11, and I've been close to 200 feet under water. My best scuba trip was to the Cayman Islands with my dad before he passed away. We saw a shark. Not like a domesticated, contained shark. No. This was a wild shark. I felt pretty cool.
5. Okay, so this isn't technically about me but I'm related to him so I think it counts. My brother's pretty awesome. Want proof? He just biked (as in bicycle) across the country (as in the entire US) last summer, AND he is in Chile for a year teaching children English. Any doubts concerning his coolness? I didn't think so.
