Barcelona by sea is my favorite Barcelona. It's the one with the sun streaming through white sails and waves splashing over a sailboat's bow. It captures the city's spirit – wild and free. The endless horizon makes you feel small. But the good kind, where the ocean spray on your skin and the breeze in your hair are all that matter. You sip a Coke and nibble on croquettes, laughing with your friends about nothing particularly funny – just out of happiness. You're content with that very second of life. You're wild and free.
