Since David and I won't be returning home for the holidays, we decided that the comforting traditions of this time of year would just have to be brought here. And so began the idea of celebrating Thanksgiving in our little apartment and inviting as many people as we know here (which is not many) to come and share the joy.

So, what do we have planned for this Thanksgiving Feast? Well, I thought I would share our menu with all of you. Sitting down to plan it was actually really special because we made sure to include the dishes that have been shared with our families at countless Thanksgiving tables, the ones that transform just a dinner into a special holiday.

Celebrating is going to look different this year, but it's a result of the big changes that have been happening in our lives.. of growing up, discovering new places, learning a lot, and being challenged. And if nothing at all, that is something to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!
