I completely expected Gibraltar to be quite different than what it actually is. You see, I had this naive idea that it was being robbed of its true identity because it's a territory of Great Britain. That for Britain to hold on to it was just wrong because colonization should be a thing of the past. Well, as it turns out, that's not the case at all. In fact, being British is a huge part of these people's identity and they take quite a lot of pride in that. Gibraltar's unique history made for what is today, its great diversity. And really, there's even monkeys. I'd say that's a pretty amazing place indeed.
