Walking through the ruins of ancient Rome was fascinating to say the least. Our travel book recommended that we take a tour because of the little information provided about each structure, so we did. It was such a good decision. A big thank you to our tour guide, Antonio, for teaching us quite a bit about this incredible place. Spending the afternoon exploring the ruins, while also learning the facts and stories behind them was truly an unforgettable experience.
P.S. I've gotten a little behind with posting our travels as a result of a lack of internet connection and just a crazy schedule. After spending some time in Venice and then meeting my family in Munich for Oktoberfest we made our way back home for a few days to do laundry and eat a home cooked meal. More about our adventures coming this week!
