Despite how dirty it is and how many tourists there are (so. many.), Venice is absolutely beautiful. Even still, the twenty-four hours that we spent here was enough for me. It was just enough time for the city to romance us.. to find that little pizzeria, stumble across stunning sights, and to make friends with a few locals. We may not have had time to visit every single attraction described in our tourist book, but that's okay.. we got lost, made memories, and throughly enjoyed ourselves. And I'd say that's pretty wonderful.
