In the spirit of my very favorite holiday coming up rather soon (okay.. kind of soon), I thought I would share the meal to celebrate it if you happen to find yourself out on the trail. Because really, what's better than some turkey, stuffing, and gravy? Nothing, my friends. Nothing. Except for maybe enjoying it in the great outdoors.

Thanksgiving Dinner (serves two)
  • 1 packet of stuffing
  • 1 packet of instant gravy
  • 1 cup instant mashed potatoes
  • 3 tbsp of butter (if you're being fancy)
  • 1 can of turkey (if you can't find canned turkey, chicken also works)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dried cranberries
Bring about 3 cups of water to a boil. Add in the gravy and stuffing. After about 2 minutes, add in the mashed potatoes and stir (add more water if necessary). When cooked, add in the turkey and butter and stir until warmed. Garnish with dried cranberries. And then feast!
