Since I can't really hang out with my
best friend in person due to the rather large ocean between us, I thought that having her right here on my little blog would be the next best thing. I'm
so excited that she's here for a visit because I kind of miss her. And by kind of, I mean it's kind of ridiculous. Love you, sweet friend!
What up musings people. You guys are smart. You're probably saying, yea duh but why do you think that? I
know you all must be very smart people because you're following this blog. And the girl behind this blog is just about the coolest person you will ever meet. I was lucky enough to live like 2.5 seconds from her and now I have to swim across the ocean and run across Europe to see her. That will happen.
I am actually writing this post while logged into her blogger account and this makes me feel closer to her. Pathetic I know. If you're starting to think I sound like a whiny little baby, well get used to it because today I'm posting about the things a miss most about my best friend.
1. Random trips
Sorry for the poor quality photo but this picture was from Lena and my first random trip together. Sea World. Orlando. We drove all night, slept in an airport, and went to Sea World instead of Disney. But it was the most fun I've ever had. I will miss our crazy, wild, random adventures.
2. Her Muppet dog.
Her dog looks like a Muppet. Seriously, every time I see Sadie (which is a lot) I think she could fit in pretty well with Rover and Fozzie. Now that they're gone, I will miss seeing that Muppet face. My dog, Colby, misses her too.
3. Coffee dates (Margarita dates)
I will miss the nights where we call each other up and decide that it's a good night to have drinks. I will miss the conversation and the ridiculous things that happen when we hang out. I will miss hanging out with you until midnight even though I was convinced it wouldn't be a late night.
4. Camping and Hiking Dates
I will miss backpacking with the backpacker extraordinaire. I will miss staying awake all night in our tents because Muppet and Colby are barking at absolutely nothing. I will miss sitting on top of mountains and just staring at the view with her.
5. Laughing more than a human should
I will miss how much my abs hurt when we were around each other. I will miss that we definitely laughed more than should be anatomically possible. And I will miss the reasons why we were laughing.
6. Just having her around
More than any of this, I will just miss having her around. Especially because I won't find pictures like this up on my phone anymore.
God graced me with a beautiful best friend and I already miss her more than I could have ever thought. But I am so excited for this chapter in her and David's life, and I can't wait to see what this experience brings about for them. All that I'm certain of is that this friendship of ours, it will never be shaken.
Love you and miss you.
